We were intrigued by the Article by Trille Kristina Kjaer and colleagues1 on the cumulative incidence of second primary cancers and the potential shared causal risk factors of first and second primary cancers, particularly with regard to the authors’ use of nationwide Danish registers. However, we have several concerns that we believe merit discussion.
